Pianodemy (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Pianodemy platform accessible at pianodemy.com and app.pianodemy.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email address, and role (teacher or student) when you register.
- Lesson data — lesson recordings, score annotations, and practice notes created inside lesson rooms.
- Usage data — page views, feature interactions, and session metadata collected via PostHog analytics.
- Payment data — billing details processed by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers.
2. How we use your data
- Provide and improve the Pianodemy platform.
- Send lesson summaries, practice plans, and transactional emails.
- Analyse usage to understand which features are most valuable.
- Comply with legal obligations.
