C-sharp minor 7th chord
How to play C♯m7 on piano
The C♯m7 chord is C♯ E G♯ B: C♯ (root), E (minor 3rd), G♯ (perfect 5th), B (minor 7th).
Spread four fingers over the four notes, thumb on C♯ in the right hand and the little finger on C♯ in the left.
Each inversion moves the bottom note up an octave. Practicing them in a row teaches your hand the same chord in three or four shapes, so you can reach it from wherever your hand already is.
