F-sharp dominant 7th chord
How to play F♯7 on piano
The F♯7 chord is F♯ A♯ C♯ E: F♯ (root), A♯ (major 3rd), C♯ (perfect 5th), E (minor 7th).
Spread four fingers over the four notes, thumb on F♯ in the right hand and the little finger on F♯ in the left.
Each inversion moves the bottom note up an octave. Practicing them in a row teaches your hand the same chord in three or four shapes, so you can reach it from wherever your hand already is.
