G minor 7th chord
How to play Gm7 on piano
The Gm7 chord is G B♭ D F: G (root), B♭ (minor 3rd), D (perfect 5th), F (minor 7th).
Spread four fingers over the four notes, thumb on G in the right hand and the little finger on G in the left.
Each inversion moves the bottom note up an octave. Practicing them in a row teaches your hand the same chord in three or four shapes, so you can reach it from wherever your hand already is.
