About this arrangement

It's No. 19 in the 1725 Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach. It is usually attributed to Bach's son Carl Philipp Emanuel.

The opening figure is played by both hands together, so practise them together slowly from the start and listen for the notes landing at the same moment. Later bars put two voices in the right hand; hold the longer notes for their full value.

Start with short loops.

Use the section list as a practice map. Start at 50% tempo, loop one section, then return to the full piece once the hand shape feels stable.

Choose Right or Left to focus on one hand. Wait for note checks the highlighted notes as you play them on the screen or a connected MIDI keyboard.

Before you practice.
