About this arrangement

Hanon gives it the same remark as No. 54: play it very smoothly and evenly, and strike every note very clearly. The left hand is marked ben marcato, well marked, at the start of each run.

Play the left-hand note and the right-hand fourth exactly together, so each change sounds as one chord. Keep the right hand's fourth firm and the fingers close to the keys. Start at a quarter note = 40 and keep both hands exactly together.

Start with short loops.

Use the section list as a practice map. Start at 50% tempo, loop one section, then return to the full piece once the hand shape feels stable.

Choose Right or Left to focus on one hand. Wait for note checks the highlighted notes as you play them on the screen or a connected MIDI keyboard.

Before you practice.
