About this arrangement

Henry Lemoine was a Paris music publisher and piano teacher. His Études enfantines, Op. 37, are 50 short studies dedicated to young pupils, and teachers still assign them today.

The score asks for ben legato, so join every sixteenth. Practise the right hand alone in two-bar loops at a slow speed, following the printed fingering for the thumb crossings, then add the left-hand chords.

Start with short loops.

Use the section list as a practice map. Start at 50% tempo, loop one section, then return to the full piece once the hand shape feels stable.

Choose Right or Left to focus on one hand. Wait for note checks the highlighted notes as you play them on the screen or a connected MIDI keyboard.

Before you practice.
