Spring from The Four Seasons
About this arrangement
Spring is the first of four violin concertos Vivaldi published in 1725 in Amsterdam, in a set called Il cimento dell'armonia e dell'inventione. Each concerto comes with a sonnet, and the music follows it: in Spring you can hear birdsong and flowing streams. Nobody knows for sure who wrote the sonnets, possibly Vivaldi himself.
E major has four sharps, so play the scale a few times before you start. Then loop the fast birdsong passages slowly with the same fingering every time.
Start with short loops.
Use the section list as a practice map. Start at 50% tempo, loop one section, then return to the full piece once the hand shape feels stable.
Choose Right or Left to focus on one hand. Wait for note checks the highlighted notes as you play them on the screen or a connected MIDI keyboard.
