B-flat major 7th chord
How to play B♭maj7 on piano
The B♭maj7 chord is B♭ D F A: B♭ (root), D (major 3rd), F (perfect 5th), A (major 7th).
Spread four fingers over the four notes, thumb on B♭ in the right hand and the little finger on B♭ in the left.
Each inversion moves the bottom note up an octave. Practicing them in a row teaches your hand the same chord in three or four shapes, so you can reach it from wherever your hand already is.
