E major 7th chord
How to play Emaj7 on piano
The Emaj7 chord is E G♯ B D♯: E (root), G♯ (major 3rd), B (perfect 5th), D♯ (major 7th).
Spread four fingers over the four notes, thumb on E in the right hand and the little finger on E in the left.
Each inversion moves the bottom note up an octave. Practicing them in a row teaches your hand the same chord in three or four shapes, so you can reach it from wherever your hand already is.
