E dominant 7th chord
How to play E7 on piano
The E7 chord is E G♯ B D: E (root), G♯ (major 3rd), B (perfect 5th), D (minor 7th).
Spread four fingers over the four notes, thumb on E in the right hand and the little finger on E in the left.
Each inversion moves the bottom note up an octave. Practicing them in a row teaches your hand the same chord in three or four shapes, so you can reach it from wherever your hand already is.
