Little Prelude in C major
About this arrangement
It's the first of Bach's Six Little Preludes, BWV 933-938, short teaching pieces written around 1717-1720 and not published until 1802. The piece has two short sections, each repeated, followed by a varied version of both.
Learn the left hand on its own first, since it carries most of the motion in the opening section. Then loop two bars at a time with both hands at 50% tempo before putting the sections together.
Start with short loops.
Use the section list as a practice map. Start at 50% tempo, loop one section, then return to the full piece once the hand shape feels stable.
Choose Right or Left to focus on one hand. Wait for note checks the highlighted notes as you play them on the screen or a connected MIDI keyboard.
Before you practice.
