School of Velocity, Op. 299 No. 10
About this arrangement
It's one of the 40 studies in Czerny's School of Velocity, Op. 299, published in four books to build speed and evenness in the fingers.
Give the left hand most of your practice time. Play its figures as blocked chords first so you know each hand position, then break them up again at 50%. Keep the left hand light and even so the right-hand melody stays on top.
Start with short loops.
Use the section list as a practice map. Start at 50% tempo, loop one section, then return to the full piece once the hand shape feels stable.
Choose Right or Left to focus on one hand. Wait for note checks the highlighted notes as you play them on the screen or a connected MIDI keyboard.
Before you practice.
