School of Velocity, Op. 299 No. 8
About this arrangement
It's one of the 40 studies in Czerny's School of Velocity, Op. 299, published in four books to build speed and evenness in the fingers.
Many bars repeat one small pattern several times. Learn each pattern on its own with the printed fingering, then join two bars at a time. Keep the left-hand chords short so they never blur the runs.
Start with short loops.
Use the section list as a practice map. Start at 50% tempo, loop one section, then return to the full piece once the hand shape feels stable.
Choose Right or Left to focus on one hand. Wait for note checks the highlighted notes as you play them on the screen or a connected MIDI keyboard.
