About this arrangement

Schumann wrote the 43 pieces of the Album for the Young, Op. 68, in 1848 for his children. No. 15, Fruhlingsgesang, is one of the last pieces in the first part of the album, the part meant for younger players.

The right hand plays the tune and the chords under it at once. Play the top notes alone first so you know the tune, then add the chords softly. Keep the left hand smooth and quiet.
