Untitled, Op. 68 No. 26
About this arrangement
Schumann wrote the 43 pieces of the Album for the Young, Op. 68, in 1848 for his children. No. 26 belongs to the second part of the album, the pieces for older players, and has no title.
The melody and the repeated chords often share the right hand. Practise the melody notes alone, then add the chords quietly underneath. Both halves repeat.
Start with short loops.
Use the section list as a practice map. Start at 50% tempo, loop one section, then return to the full piece once the hand shape feels stable.
Choose Right or Left to focus on one hand. Wait for note checks the highlighted notes as you play them on the screen or a connected MIDI keyboard.
