About this arrangement

Jean-Baptiste Duvernoy taught piano at the Paris Conservatoire. His Op. 176, École primaire, is a set of 25 elementary studies, each built on one skill.

Play each chord short, with both notes landing together, and bounce from the wrist rather than the arm. Keep the staccato light at p and save the weight for the f bars.

Start with short loops.

Use the section list as a practice map. Start at 50% tempo, loop one section, then return to the full piece once the hand shape feels stable.

Choose Right or Left to focus on one hand. Wait for note checks the highlighted notes as you play them on the screen or a connected MIDI keyboard.

Before you practice.
